Before buying cabinets for new connections, please speak to your DNO

We manufacture and supply electrical enclosures that are suitable for electrical connections – feeder pillars R Pillars, RH Pillars and RB Cabinets.

We also have specifically designed the Power Supply Enclosures for new connections. These enclosures offer the added benefit of a double door enclosure with two segregated bays.

Our enclosures are made for protecting the electricals needed from the external environment. However, we are not electricians, and we cannot advice on the equipment being fitted inside the enclosures. We can guide you towards the correct enclosure if we have a rough estimate of the dimensions of the equipment you want to place inside the enclosure.

The works being carried out to connect you to the power supply are always done by your DNO.  Any feeder pillars for connections need must always comply with DNO requirements to be energised.

Please ask what preference they have for enclosures as some DNOs will not install into metal cabinets. Some DNOs will only install a new connection using plastic enclosures. So please check before purchasing your Ritherdon enclosure.
