How are RMC Cabinets packed? Please look inside for your Plinth!

The RMC Cabinets are our largest enclosures and we wanted to let you know how we package the enclosures. For some sizes of RMC Cabinets were are able to package a Cabinet with its plinth inside. Read on to find out how RMC Cabinets are packed.

RMC Cabinets come in three sizes - RMC1250, RMC1600 and RMC2100 and comes complete with 18mm exterior grade backboard, earth wires, reinforced door stays, Three-point locking system with padlockable handle and protective shroud.

RMC1250 and RMC1600 Cabinet and Plinth Packed Together

For the RMC1250 and RMC1600 we are able to fit the corresponding plinth inside the cabinet itself, on one pallet. By doing so, we immediately reduce the carbon footprint of the RMC by saving on the packaging material required, which means less has to be recycled or disposed of.

As you can see, the corresponding plinth fits neatly inside this RMC1250 Cabinet, pictured below. Please do not mistake the plinth for a shelf! This is the way we have packed the plinth inside the cabinet.

Please look inside your Cabinet for your Plinth!

So next time you order an RMC1250 or 1600 size, please look inside your cabinet for the plinth.

For safe handling, the plinth is fixed to both backboard and pallet, then carefully packaged.

RMC2100 Cabinet and Plinth Individually Packaged

For the RMC2100 Cabinet, we would still send the cabinet and the plinth on separate pallets. The RMC2100 plinth won't fit inside; this cabinet is wider than it is taller.

Offloading Facilities Required

Whilst we work very closely with our couriers to ensure the safe transit of our enclosures, we do ask you to arrange for Offloading facilities due to the large size and weight of all RMC Cabinets - A forklift is required to offload from the carrier.

RMC Cabinet and Plinth

Please bear in mind that the RMC Cabinet includes the Plinth, as the warranty is void if not installed together.

Due to the RMC Cabinet's large size, it needs to be installed on a level surface for best performance. To best way to achieve this is to use its own plinth.

Plinths are also sold separately as spares, in case there's any circumstances where a separate plinth is required.

RMC Cabinets Multipurpose Stainless Steel Enclosures

The RMC Cabinets are multipurpose enclosures and as our largest enclosures, they are  a popular choice. They feature a large internal bay with no separation. The RMC Cabinets provide plenty of space and this is especially useful when futureproofing your installation.
