What does a CT chamber include?
A Ritherdon CT Chamber is made up of the following elements: GRP Enclosure with two locks Metal Backboard WAGO Terminal Block - Pre-wired DIN Rail 3 phases and neutral Individual Plastic Covers for 3 phases and neutral Clamps with Shear off Bolts (8 for each phase and neutral) Does not include CTs - However we are able to supply two types of CTs 200 Amp 400 Amp CTs supplied by Ritherdon include individual testing certificates.

The Ritherdon CT Chamber made to UKPN specification is housed in a lockable, sturdy GRP enclosure. What is a CT Chamber?
A CT Chamber houses current transformers for low voltage metering applications. They are required to transform high voltage to low voltage for your multi-occupancy residential or commercial property. When the supply to a site needs to be greater than 100 A (~70 kVA at 415 V) then the electricity meter works with current transformers (CTs) housed within their own enclosure – the CT chamber.
