When will I receive my order? What are your lead times?

Meter Box Repair

Most of the items on the Ritherdon shop are stock items and will be shipped next working day or within 48 hours. For RB cabinets and larger enclosures, there is a 5 working day maximum delivery time since placing your order. If we can improve on that lead time, we will! We always despatch orders as soon as they are ready.

These stock items include all our meter box repair units, new meter boxes, locks, kitchen repair kits and other spares. 

Exceptions from New Meter Boxes that are not kept in stock:

  • R5 Large
  • R3 Large 
  • R16 Large 

Most of our pillars and cabinets have a lead time of 5 working days. They are kept in stock and painted according to your requirements from our standard colours (at no extra cost). Natural finish (304 grade of steel) pillars and cabinets are still treated and have the same lead time.

If an item is out of stock at the time of order, you will be notified as soon as possible. All orders are acknowledged from our internal system by way of email showing all order details and expected delivery date, though we would try to deliver sooner if possible.

The larger enclosures and all our 316 Marine grade pillars and cabinets are shipped within a 3-4 week lead time. If we can ship them sooner we will.

We will always acknowledge our orders and establish a required date which is the estimated delivery date we confirm once the order is placed. Please check this once you receive your second email order acknowledgement. Sales Order Acknowledgements will be sent via email and sent as an attachment. Please check your attachment. Time Specific Orders

If time is of the essence, you can add a note to your order and ask for a specific delivery date and we will do our best to accommodate based on our estimated lead times. We will do our best to deliver sooner if we can do so. 

We advise that if an item is needed urgently, we'd appreciate that you let us know with a quick phone call and we will advise accordingly before placing the order.
