Stop replacing plastic meter doors!

Meter Box Repair

Unfortunately, open meter boxes with missing doors are a common sight. One that is particularly common after the bad weather the UK has been experiencing recently.

Typically meter boxes are made of plastic and it's common for them to wear out, become brittle over time and easily break.

It might seem easy to just replace the plastic door, however over time the plastic will wear out and deteriorate again, and the cycle of repairs re-starts!

Break the repair cycle and choose a metal meter box repair unit instead!

Ritherdon provides metal repair door and frames, that cover the whole damaged plastic meter box. Quick and easy to fit over, without disconnecting the meter.

Steel, plus durable powder coating, make a much stronger and therefore more long-lasting repair than alternative materials such as plastic (GRP) or aluminium.

When you repair with a door and frame, you are not just repairing the door but also the frame - instead of plastic, you will be left with a durable metal frame with tough hinges that will last. The new door is fitted with a chrome finish triangular lock that slams shut for convenience.
