Options available for a semi-concealed gas meter box

Semi-concealed gas meter boxes tend to get damaged easily as they are installed on the floor and are easily stepped on and walked on. 

Just like the rest of our meter box repair units, we have suitable steel versions that easily fit over the damaged GRP unit without having to disconnect the utilities.

We have three different options available for repairing the brown, semi-concealed gas meter boxes with durable powder-coated stainless steel.

Replace the Lid:

Lid for Mitras style meter box, dimensions 470mm wide, 340mm deep - R24 M Lid

Lid for Hepworth style meter box, dimensions 415mm wide, 440mm deep - R24 H Lid 

Replace the lid and the surrounding frame:

Tall, Prepayment Gas Meters:

Need to repair a more tall prepayment gas meter? We also have replacements for the floor-mounted prepayment meters. 

Replace with Lid and Body, dimensions 512mm high, 470mm wide, 340mm deep.

Easy to fit, just hand tools and a few minutes!

All R24 semi-concealed gas meter box repair units are made from durable powder-coated, 1.2mm thick stainless steel and guaranteed for 25 years.

Lids easily fit just like the original plastic lids and frames are fastened through the unit using a nut and a bolt.
