NH600 Type 600 Cabinet

The National Highways Type 600 Cabinet is designed to house and protect motorway communication and roadside equipment.

Manufactured and designed by Ritherdon according to National Highways requirements made from stainless steel with a 25-year guarantee.

The NH600 Cabinet is designed according to National Highways specification TR1153 Issue E and in compliance with TR1100, TR2130 and TR2180.

National Highways Product Acceptance Certificate No. PAC 10-1-2020-04-30.

Standard Material, Colour, and Lock:

• 4003 Grade: Suitable for inland locations
• TR2180 BS4800 00-A-09 ‘Flint Grey’
• Concentric Cam-Lock with three-point locking system operated by an National Highways Supplied T-key on each door. National Highways enclosures are supplied without keys as standard.  Please contact your Scheme Designer for further information and supply details.

• IP56 Rating – The NH600 is protected against dust ingress powerful water jets according to BS EN 60529:1992 + A2:2013.
• 19” Rack 21U – For the mounting of communications and roadside equipment (max 50kg).
• Lifting Lugs – All units are supplied with detachable lifting lugs with a maximum load of 438kg.
• Vertical Lacing Rails x4 – For the attachment/mounting of cables and termination blocks.
• Horizontal Termination Rails x2 – Under the PDU for the termination and earthing of SWA cables.
• Power Bars x2 – Two 6-way vertically mounted IEC C13 Power Bars on either side of the lacing frame to power equipment.
  Secure Locking System – Three-point locking system on each door operated using a T key. Key not included.*
• Two 90° Doors – One on each side, allows for easy convenient access to equipment inside.
• Ventilation – Cabinet is ventilated using a vent system above the doors.
  Cable Entry – Opening at the base for cable entry. To be sealed with resin-based product.
• Plywood Backboard – 12 mm WBP plywood backboard (EN314.2 Class 2) used to mount the consumer unit, 13A socket and heater.
• Made from 4003 Grade Stainless Steel, powder coated in RAL 00A09 ‘Flint Grey’.
• Ritherdon Guarantee – All metalwork is guaranteed for 25 years.
