{"product_id":"passively-safe-cabinet-account-plan","title":"Passively Safe Cabinet","description":"\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eOur Passively Safe Roadside Cabinet is the most innovative addition to Ritherdon’s range of highways products. Developed in conjunction with Manchester University’s School of Mechanical, Aeronautical and Civil Engineering (see UMI\u003c\/span\u003e\u003csup\u003e3\u003c\/sup\u003e\u003cspan\u003e article – July 2013, page 6), this innovative and pioneering design of this external enclosure has pushed the boundaries of possibility in terms of passive safety. The Passively Safe Cabinet was officially crash-tested to the specifications outlined in European standard EN 12767.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe standard EN2767 defines the conditions of testing in the European passive safety crash test.  It also sets thresholds in a set of parameters that must be measured.  Results below these limits in the test demonstrate that an item of street furniture will cause significantly less harm when hit by a vehicle to its occupants.  The street furniture can then be described as a passive safe product.
