CT Chamber

Delivery on CT Chambers for Class 0.5 is 3 working days (to be discontinued), for CT Chambers Class 0.5s lead time is 3 working weeks as we are awaiting stock for the month of April.

Large order quantities of 5+ units will be 6-8 working weeks. We always work to despatch orders sooner if we can.

CT Chamber includes CTs (Current Transformers) - available in two classes:

• Class 0.5s - set of three CTs available in 200A, 400A, and 600A.
• Class 0.5 which will be discontinued - set of three CTs available in 200A, 400A, and 600A.

CTs come with a set of three test certificates as standard. 

 Product details:

• Choose from CT Chamber including 200 Amp, 400 Amp, or 600 Amp CTs.
• Includes CTs, choose Class 0.5s or to be discontinued Class 0.5.
• Permits flexible installation (e.g. can accommodate supply from top or bottom)

The CT Chamber includes CTs but if you would like extras or to purchase CTs individually, you can find these under separate product listings: 

• Set of 3 200:5 Amp
• Set of 3 400:5 Amp
• Set of 3 600:5 Amp

The Ritherdon CT Chamber was originally designed and tested for UK Power Networks who manage the electricity supply network in the southeast of England. Thousands of units are now in use and are still installed by the DNO (Distribution Network Operator) for the Southeast.

However, with the creation of the Building Network Operator (e.g. a landlord responsible for the supply network within a multiple occupancy building) this high quality CT Chamber can be used in any BNO site in the UK.

In a BNO-managed building, the responsibility of the DNO now ends just on the usage side of the cut out (intake position) and, as long as the Wiring Regulations are followed, the choice of electrical equipment beyond this point is the BNO’s.
